Friends' Take on the Annual General Meeting of the Rouge Valley Health System – June 27, 2006 

  • A carefully managed meeting - no controversy - no additional comments allowed!  Held in the small conference room of Centenary Hospital, a far cry from the large venues of the previous two years.
  • We have real concerns about the directions that the Board will take regarding:

    1.        finances,

    2.        relationships with staff,

    3.        performance reviews of System officials including Board members, 

    4.    governance matters including the appointment of future Board members,

    5.       the future stability of the Obs/Paeds programs at APH,

    6.       the planning model used for future decisions.

The first Board meeting is Sept. 26 and we will have more to report after that.
