Public Meetings of RVHS Board and
Committees
1. All meetings of the Board of Directors of the RVHS
and its Committees shall be open to the public,
2. The Board may exclude the public from any part in a meeting if the following are
discussed if the following matters will be discussed:
(a) personal health
information, as defined by section four of the Personal Health Information Act,
2004;
(b) personnel maters involving an identifiable individual,
including an employees of the RVHS;
(c) Negotiations or anticipated
negotiations between the RVHS & a person, or a bargaining agent
or party;
(d) Litigation or contemplated litigation affecting the RVHS,
or any legal advice subject to solicitor/client privilege.
3. The Board of Directors, or its Committees, shall not exclude the
public from a meeting before a votes is held on a motion to exclude the public which motion must
clearly state the nature of the matter to be considered at the
closed meeting, and the reasons why the public is being excluded.
